Zoya Phoebe..I have created a dupe!!!!!

Zoya introduced the Mod Mattes collection for summer 2011.  I didn't get heavy into my polish collection and nail art until almost 2 years later, and that polish line was no longer available.
As I started to get more into the Zoya brand, the color "Phoebe" kept showing up in pictures, and I fell in love.
She was part of the Mod Mattes that consisted of  Phoebe, Lolly, and Mitzi.
I would search them on eBay and there were only a scarce number of sellers and man, was that price high!  I did buy it though... I couldn't help it.
I saw dupes being discovered online all the time, but no one had posted a dupe for Phoebe.  I knew as soon as I opened the package and looked at that bottle, that I was going to want to have more than one.  I started swatching blues, mixing bottles, and layering polish.  Then Eureka! I found it! I had picked up a new matte summer polish from Walmart and the shimmer was so pretty. I layered it on one of the blue swatches I had and BAM, that was it.

I'm most happy to share it, because I just can't keep it to myself.

Now, to the process!  The first coat I used was Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear polish #130 Blue Me Away.  I made sure the bottom coat was nice and even.  The next coat is by Salon Perfect #507 Bermuda Baby.  This look can also be glossed up like my manicure I did yesterday.  I'm happy that I have the original, but I'm happier that I have something that I can continue to enjoy, long after my original bottle is empty.

Alright! The nail shelves are all built, stained, hung, and now almost full.  LOL.  I think my official number is 622 and counting.  That does not include any duplicate bottles or topcoats.

I love Color Club Holographic Polish

I have last year's collection, and purchased this year's not too long ago.  I love the formula for these Hues.  I was bored and wanted to change my polish again.  I decided to go with "Eternal Beauty".  I just love looking at this in the sunlight.  I'm not sure if I'm going to leave it just as it is, or add to it.

Yay! Now I have a nail blog!

After posting all of my nail designs on facebook, I noticed I had only been listing my polish colors.  There could be so much more said about each design, as well as pictures to accompany it.  I still need to get a watermark made, or figure out how to do it lol.  This was my most recent water marble.
I am planning to get a GoPro in order to make YouTube tutorials.  It looks like so much fun.
This was a simple petal design in the water using four colors.  Orly "In the Navy", Sally Hansen "Blue It" and "Blinding Blue" and Milani "Beach Front"  Sealing it all in with my favorite top coat Seche Vite.
